Buyers must notify Norberg~IES in writing of shortage, damage or defects within 10 days of the date delivered. Returns due solely to customer preference error will normally be accepted only if received within 30 days of the date delivers, and will be subject to a restocking fee at the discretion of Norberg~IES (for orders shipped within the United States, typically up to 30% plus shipping costs. Orders shipped outside the United States or unusual restocking situations may vary). Parts specified as Non-Cancellable/Non-Returnable (NCNR) at the time of quote or sale are not returnable, as those parts are purchased from a manufacturer specifically on your behalf and may not be returnable by us to the manufacturer. Credit for returned items will be issued at the discretion of Norberg~IES after inspection by our Receiving Department. All returned products should be in the original packaging and in unused condition.

If there was an Ordering Error:

Has the product been taken our of the box?
Was the product installed or put into use?
Do you have the original packaging?
Was an order placed with Norberg for the correct material?

If damaged in shipping: A claim must be filed with the shipper. Our terms are FOB shipping point so risk of loss transitions to the customer after shipment. We insure all shipments for invoice value. Must have pictures uploaded of the damaged item received.

Controls

Custom enclosures are non-returnable.

Repairs or replacement for enclosures damaged in transit or in the field are handled on a case by case basis. Requests for repair must include pictures and description of damage prior to return.

Enclosures

Warranty claims for defective parts are handled through the manufacturer. To process we will need description of the defect. A replacement order will be required, with credit issued only after the manufacturer approves the warranty claim. If a part is not functioning correctly, a call with a Norberg Inspector will be scheduled to troubleshoot the issue prior to approving a return.
